Water Situation In Las Vegas "Is As Bad As You Can Imagine"

Las Vegas gets just four inches of rain in a good year & in the first four months of 2014 there was just 0.31 of an inch, but still uses 219 gallons of water per person per day, the highest figures in the US. Unless it can find a way to get more water from somewhere Las Vegas is out of business. Yet they’re still building, which is stupid.

Will California Drought Create Opening In Water?

California is in one of the worst droughts since records began in the 1850s’. Water stress in the western states will increasingly open up opportunities in this sector for investors. If there is a move to a market-priced water system, investors may have more opportunities to enter the sector.
