California Regulators Clamp Down On Water Waste

California regulators are starting to clamp down on water waste & about 60 California cities and agencies have imposed mandatory water-use cutbacks, some as high as 50%. Some residents are angry about the crackdown. There isn’t much choice – It’s either do it or you die.

Water Situation In Las Vegas "Is As Bad As You Can Imagine"

Las Vegas gets just four inches of rain in a good year & in the first four months of 2014 there was just 0.31 of an inch, but still uses 219 gallons of water per person per day, the highest figures in the US. Unless it can find a way to get more water from somewhere Las Vegas is out of business. Yet they’re still building, which is stupid.
