Weekly Outlook for Silver Prices - Volatility in Gold Prices on the Rise

At present, the bias in silver prices is to the upside, as new buying appeared to be behind last week’s advance in prices, as open interest increased nearly 6% through Thursday. Open interest is roughly 175,000 contracts, which is about 875,000,000 ounces of paper silver. The so-called spec net long rose 150%…swelling over $2bn by value…and growing faster than any week since at least 1986 as silver prices jumped.
