Are Silver Price Movements Indicating the Beginning of the Next Upleg?

Silver had a good rally last Friday & this turnaround could mark the beginning of the next upleg. Even if it should head lower again soon, it is thought unlikely that it will drop below the support at and below $18.00, especially as it is underpinned by an important channel support line. Should it drop that low silver would look most attractive.

Buy More Silver on the Big Pullback in Silver Prices

History shows that when silver has a big rally off a bottom, it typically retraces about 50% of the rally. Levels may change slightly if silver prices continue to creep up in the short-term, but it provides an approximate buy location for when the pullback does develop. Now is not the time to be aggressively buying silver. Patience is likely to yield much lower entry points.

Silver Takes the Gold Prize: Commodities Half Yearly Report 2016

Caused by worries of a summer interest rate hike and uptick in the U.S. dollar, gold and silver both stalled in May but have since rallied on the back of Brexit and with government bond yields in freefall. This has been highly constructive for gold and silver, as yields and precious metals tend to be inversely related. As for silver, some forecasters place it at between $25 and $32 an ounce by year’s end.

Young Bull Run In Silver Prices Is Just The Tip Of The Iceberg

When silver awakens to a new bull market after a long bearish slumber, massive gains are usually unleashed. The tiny advance in silver prices (of over +20%: official new-bull-market metric) so far (faring better than gold) is just the tip of the iceberg. Speculators and investors alike are returning as awareness spreads of how radically undervalued silver is compared to prevailing gold prices.

The Chinese Start Buying Silver - Momentum Breaks Out To Highest In Years

Silver has gained 21% this year & is the best performing asset. Is a continuation of the breakout imminent or will silver suffer its traditional intraday slamdown as someone dumps enough paper silver to take out the entire bidstack and reprice the commodity lower? It all depends on what the patriotic Chinese, now in possession of a brand new gold fixing mechanism, do next.

Silver Buying Only Starting - Investment Demand Awakens

Silver is on the verge of a major breakout following this week’s sharp rally. Silver investment demand varies dramatically with the shifting whims of traders’ sentiment it. And since any market’s prices are effectively set by marginal new buying & selling, nothing is more important for silver prices than investment demand.

China’s Pivotal Role For Gold And Silver: More Questions Than Answers

The inclusion of renminbi will not go into effect until Jan 2016, at the earliest. Will this be the often touted gold and silver reset that will cause prices to reach much higher levels? That remains to be seen. We believe there is no chance whatsoever that China will have its currency be gold-backed, that is convertible into gold.

How Gold And Silver Price Decline And Short Covering Was Manufactured

JPMorgan rigs the price lower on those big down days, but not by selling enormous quantities of COMEX silver contracts short. JPM gets the price snowball rolling down by selling a small quantity of contracts short at critical times with the intent of inducing technical funds to sell larger quantities which JPM & other commercials then buy.

JPMorgan Holds Highest Amount Of Physical Silver In History

JPMorgan realized that it was on the wrong side of the trade, after having discovered how tight the physical silver market was. Consequently, the bank had to crush the silver price with their HFT tricks in order to reverse the trend. By doing so, JPM could regain control over the silver market.

A Technical Perspective On Silver

When will silver rise to higher values? It has taken longer than most thought, and it will continue to take longer than most believe, but there is one thing for sure, the price of silver will retest the old high, and then proceed to exceed it, by at least a double.
