The silver market is trading above its 50-day & 100-day moving averages, which are bullish signals for trend following traders. Why are silver prices outperforming gold? Here are some solid reasons.

Global Silver Supply Deficit Surges On Revised Data

If the cumulative global silver supply deficit since 2004 of one billion ounces wasn’t large enough, a data revision published by the Silver Institute shows the actual figure was much higher. How much higher? A great deal when the additional revised amount would totally wipe out all the silver at the Comex and Shanghai Futures Exchange warehouses.

Silver Will Be The Gift That Keeps On Giving In 2015

Bullion banks that are massively short paper silver might have a bigger problem with delivering physical silver right now than they do with gold. It’s almost as if the bonafide physical silver accumulators are removing as much physical silver possible. Even HSBC issued a report forecasting an 11 million ounce supply deficit in 2015.
